A buddy of mine just got a 99 coupe with the 3.0 motor for free, I was wondering how hard it would be to swap that into a 5th gen sedan? I know the 3.2 and 3.5 swaps out of TL's and Odyssy's require different mounts all together, but would the 6th gen mounts fit with some modification? thanks for any help.

 

no the mounts wont fit with modification, going to have to make custom ones from scratch, or you MIGHT be able to modify some of the K swap mounts to fit the J series.

 

Can't remember who, but someone on hondasociety has done it.

modified eg j swap mounts and more, modded with the assistance of the designer of the mounts. probably not an easy swap but pretty cool!
