new integra
so i recently got married and now i can start putting some money into the integra . My wife and i will be moving to austin so not to much money can be put into it now. i bought a 2001 integra about six months ago for only $1500 its a automatic and a b18b1 the plans are to be a fun daily with a nice stance not looking for a race car just a little more power and a manual swap, or if i could find a gsr swap but integras are rare down here. I have already done a complete tune up, discarded the ebay taillights picked up a set of oem tails and a set of 8000k hid lights and a little color (purple) flush bolt kit. Well thanks for looking and suggestions are welcome.

There are still one-owner Integra automatics around. Many in very good conditions. Where as some GSR or manual cars have 6-8 owners and rapped badly.
I see what you're sayin but why put all the work into it just to make it a manual? A lot of effort for no real power improvement. But Goodluck op on your build

The motor is great a/c works perfect shifts great it has 68xxx its a 2001 interior n great shape no rips! I'm liking the car cant wait to really get into a nice daily build. Have a question do all the integra taillights say made in japan on them? the ones i picked up don't say DOT on them. They came off an integra at a junk yard the car was a 1999 but the tails had the amber markers, any help on those would be appreciated.
so as i looked closer at the tail lights they say koito japan and some numbers i'm hoping that they are stock tails they look just like stock ones but my buddies say dot on them and mine dont
take a picture of them and post it. If it's bone stock I don't see how it would not have stock tail lights

Here are the tail lights they look stock but my concern is they don't say DOT on them they say Koito Japan. Oh i also installed a tow strap just for fun lol had it sitting around.
So this is what i'm working on now, first time working carbon fiber just taking my time and hoping it comes out. I made a mold and now i'm working on trimming and fitting than more resin and wet sand and clear.
if you want a fun little daily, i would recommend in just doing a nice drop, i would keep the rims unless you want different rims but the LS meshies are a good set.
so yah, drop it on nice suspension so u can get a smooth ride, an oem type R lip; nothing crazy where it will just crack and break on you while driving and then just take care of the maint. and enjoy the car
