Default Headers cause Afterfire? h22

so i been working on this accord and finally got throttle response back and doesnt smell rich

only thing thats still wrong is the afterfire when i let off of gas

timing looked good and everything the only thing i could think of are these aftermarket headers

anyone have some afterfire with aftermarket exhaust?

well most people say backfire but in correct terms back fire is before the engine and afterfire is after the engine

headers will not cause fuel to be ignited in the exhaust system.
timing is usually one problem that is most common, as well as possible fueling problems. timing "looking" right and being right are two different things...

i say looked right because i was unable to see the timing mark on the block that the crank pully lines up with since its a h22a in accord i would basically have to drop the whole engine

i just got the mark on the pulley to the best straight up and down area and checked cam markings... hence looked right and not is right

its out of my hands now either way.... he said he was getting maintnence done soon so i made sure he gets the timing checked by professional since i wasnt going to take out his whole engine just to see timing

i do not understand why you would have to drop the engine as the accord came stock with the h22 in other markets....
