Default Cabin A/C Issue

I have a '94 DX with A/C. I took it in to have the AC checked and it needed a little work, nothing major and now the readings they are taking under the hood show everything is work as it should, temps are good. My issue is in the cabin, there is only slightly cool air coming through not COLD air like it should be. Someone told me about some damper that may be stuck open, can anybody expand on this or let me know of something else to do. South Texas heat is KILLING me!!!!

Make sure the heater valve on the firewall isn't stuck partially open.

Post your refrigerant pressures and the conditions in which the readings were taken.

Thanks RonJ@HT, where is this heater valve, is it inside or under the hood on the firewall?
