Default Researching sway bars for 91 civic hb base/dx

I need information as to front and rear sway bars, since the car does not come with factory bars, do aftermarket ones bolt up or require modification? i can get a nice set for around 3 bills, however am not sure how that works without factory sway bars, thanks.

The front control arms are sway bar ready. You just need the hardware. I am running an oem Si front sway bar on my std hatch. As for the rear, Suspension Technique makes the rear sway specifically for the non Si models. Although I have heard it can get in the way of your exhuast depending on size/routing.

I can get a set of ST bars for around 300, so they will work without modification?

Reread this post, I don't think you understood it.

Spending $300 on both front and rear ST bars is not wise. You don't ever need such a large front bar. You can get an oem 18mm along with the hardware you need anyway for dirt cheap and that's all you need.

ST rear bar is a cheap and easy choice.
