Default Used ITR Shocks vs. Koni yellows

I have the chance to buy some used ITR shocks and Ground control coilovers for $275. Do you think that the ITR shocks would be able to function properly if I dropped my integra ~2"? The guy trying to sell them said that the ITR shocks would work very well w/the coilovers. Is this a better deal than buying a new set of Koni yellows and Ground controls for ~$950? I need some help! Thanks.

what are the spring rates that will come with the GC coilovers? If they're over 275#s (or thereabouts) then you'll be exceeding the spring rates on a stock ITR and, therefore, exceeding what the shocks were built to handle. This will cause the shocks to wear out faster, as will dropping the car ~2"

Koni yellows are a great shock (I've got them and them), but the off-the-shelf variety can handle spring up to about 450#s. Above that many would suggest getting them revalved to handle the stiffer spring rates, otherwise they won't last as long before needing a rebuild.

ITR shocks require ITR lower control arms in the rear

The rear shocks won't fit without converting your lower arms at the very least. $950 for yellows and ground control? too much. We sell both for $838 plus shipping.

Ground control for Koni: http://www.diabloautosports.com/prod...roducts_id=628
