Default 04 crv--I think I fried the ecu

I have an 04 CRV 4 wheel drive automatic---Started out as a repeat TPS eater--PO122(has had 4 new aftermarket tps's on it in 2 yrs) that makes it downshift HARD to 1st gear at stops.
Solus Pro shows .31 mostly but it is eratic.
A new tps has always cured it for 2-3 months at a time.
I was checking things at the TPS connector--3 wires--- 5v---ground---and signal return.I had the tps unplugged.
Once I found out which wire was ground (grn/yel) I ohmed it to battery ground and it had .002 resistance---then I used a test light connected to the positive battery post and touched the grn/yel ground wire and the test light lit as it should.
For some stupid reason which I cannot actually think of I then touched the middle wire of the 3 pin connector (red/blk which is signal return)------I essentially put 12 volt through the test light bulbs filament to a circuit that normally see's 4.5 volts max.
I heard a click and the fuel pump cycled and I lost communication with the scanner.I cannot retreave any data or codes or clear any codes with no communication
I now have the key immobolizer light flashing and I have no communicate with engine or trans but the air bag and anti lock still have communication.
The engine will run although its hard to start(long crank time)but its in limp mode now- or maybe in valet mode???----immobilizer light is flashing continuosly and it only will turn 3 grand and 30 mph max and it takes off in 2nd I believe and stays in 2nd---no shift.I tried all my other keys also(2 gray valet and 2 black)
Cannot find any blown fuses-----I suspect I have fried the ECU.
My questions are---can a used ecu be reflashed with my key code and vin #.
Could I have fried the immobilizer by this mistake?
I would not think the immobilizer would cause a lack of comm between the scanner and the ecu.
I have a friend who can flash computers but he has not done a Honda yet.
Is a Honda dealer the only ones capable of the flash?
Also there is a place fairly close that can test and /or repair the ecu but I can get a used one cheaper than his testing alone would cost.
Thanks in advance for any help with this delima I caused myself
