I have a 97 honda prelude that is not sparking from the coil. It started to miss fire from cylinder 3. No it is not sparking at all. I checked to see if it was sparking form the coil; it was not. I have replaced the coil and still no spark. No mods done to it except the cold air intake and cat-back exhaust. What do I need to check next?

 

How is all the wiring in that area of the engine bay?

How old are the plugs, wires, cap and rotor, ignitor?

 

The wires, plugs and cap are new. I have no idea how old the distributor and the ignitor are. The screw that holds the rotor is stuck. If I can't get it off tomorrow i'm going to return the cap and replace the whole distributor. Is this going to be the next step or is there any diagnostic that can be done?

 

I checked the grounds and they are all good. Im getting power to the distributor, coil, and igniter. Would the distributor be at falt?
