OVERHEAT! OVERHEAT! OVERHEAT!!!!
Ok this is my situation I put all my tubes back tighten, put new theromant in and everything is being cooled.
The issue Im having is everytime I drive my car to a store and come home i check my reserve tank and it is lowered by about an inch. I put U.V. dye in the radiator system to see if it will flow through the system and show me where the small leak is. I open the radiator cap couple days later and the dye is floating at the top.
None of the tubes are wet. The only area that seems to be a little moist is where the transmission is connected to the engine. Its the top of the transmission and middle of the engine right under the distrubutor cap. When I reach my hand underneath the distrubutor and squeeze my hand in that tight spot and seems to be wetness as such a mixture as wetness and oil. PLEASE HELP!!! Is this the right spot? could it be the in the water water pump area? is it a blown head gasket?

You can rent a coolant system pressure tester at some autoparts stores. But it might help to list your year, make, model and engine. Also did you bleed the system after you were done with the thermostat?
Did you bleed the block when refilling with water and coolant? Its a screw on the block by the top radiator house. Open it. fill with water and coolant till no more bubbles. Start the car and continue to bleed till bubbles are gone and only fluid comes out.closer the valve and fill to correcT level. Also that thermostat could be bad even if its new, and its a 170° , & make sure your fan switch is still good..
