Default 91 CrX si B18C1 Gsr Start Up Problem

My rex is having difficulty starting up. it started up the 2 days ago for like 2-3 seconds then died. tried again a few moments after and it just cranks no turn over. i tried again today, it started then died after 2-3 seconds and then just cranks after that. i changed oil, filter, spark plugs and wires, put new gas, adjusted the dizzynothing. timings dead on. does anyone have anything on this? I Also posted a picture of my purge/ vaccum lines up if that has anything to do with it. Theyre possibly in the wrong spots. help a fellow Rex brother out lol

Need more info:

What distributor and ecu did you use?
Did you convert to OBD1?
Are you getting spark?
Getting fuel?
Did you mess with any of the timing components, new timing belt?
When you turn to accessory does the fuel pump/check engine light cut on for two seconds then cut off?

its a p72 obd1 coverted to obd0. im using a chipped p28. i converted to obd1 with a jumper harness. i must be getting spark since the car does start up but then dies. yes im getting fuel, i took off the fuel return line and fuel comes out and also removed the banjo bolt from the fuel line that connects to the fuel filter and the filter leaks so i know its not clogged. timing belt is still good so i never changed it. i adjusted dizzy but that doesnt work so i moved back in place. i wouldnt know the check engine light doesnt work even after i put a bulb in. from my guess the the ecu isnt reading the MAP sensor because the vacuum/purge lines might be in the wrong spots. so the ecu doesnt know to inject fuel.

where did you get the ecu jumper from? what about the dizzy wiring, did you use a jumper as well?

i had bought an ebay one, was too lazy to make my own, put it in car started up. couple seconds later i get a check engine light. i check the code and its for CKP, i check the wiring and turns out the idiots who made it tied the ckp+ signal to the o2 sensor wiring. never trust an ebay jumper. you get what you pay for.

with that said, double check the ecu jumper wiring.

i bought the ecu jumper from rywire. and i dont have an o2 sensor yet, low on cash. but is that may be the problem? what about those map sensor lines and charcoal canister coming from the charcoal canister? my ecu is tuned btw.

Just plug the MAP connector you have going to the firewall to the one on top of your throttle body or use this diagram. The purge solenoid stuff beside it can be deleted if you want otherwise use this diagram

Can you take more pics of your engine bay as well so I can see how you have the rest of the wiring and connections?

so my fuel pump is playing games and turning on and turning off. ill get fuel through the lines then i won't. i took removed the line from the fuel rail cranked it for a few nothing held it a little longer then fuel. fuel pump is definately acting up cant even hear it turn on. so im gonna test the main relay and harness see if something shows up then go to my fuel pump clip check that then last replace fuel pump. oh and im check #14 fuse under the dash (alternator) but i have a service manual from 1987 and it shows that that fuse controls almost everything to do with the engine.
