What are Dampers??
I am buying some springs (integra) for my EK civic.
The guy says he's selling the springs plus Dampers.
I don't want the dampers (extra $$) but just the springs
Do I need the dampers? cause i saw guys here put integra springs on their EK

This is debatable, but from all the books I've read, "shock absorbers" don't absorb the shocks because the spring does. They "dampen" the reciprocal motion of the springs, hence the name "dampers."
It's the general term all over the world, especially in the racing world.
