how do you know its not looking for an o2 sensor? is it even a stock computer? also the p28 maps may not be too great with the non vtec engine.

i have the same problem with my P28. Well similar. My p28 looks for a o2 but not a 4wire one. instead it looks for a 1wire o2. everytime i tried to hook up a 4 wire oxygen sensor it throws a code for o2. I've tried a OBD1 PR4 ecu and my wiring for the o2 works just as it should. My P28 is chipped. I hope you figure out whats wrong because i've been trying to solve this mystery for a year.
