FS 1998 HONDA CIVIC READ AD COMPLETELY
Hello HT, up for sale is my 98 civic, its an LX so power everything. now for the pros & cons. Keep in mind its still automatic
pros:
-Fresh paint job, about 8 months old.
-New rebuilt engine from Moshi Moshi Motors, only put about 2,000 miles on it. its a stock d16y7 (still have receipts)
-Headliner was redone so it looks brand new
-HID's
-Sitting on SI rims with fairly new tires, around 75% tread left
-When I put the new motor in all the little things were replaced with OEM honda parts (thermostat, fan switch, valve cover gasket, fluids, etc [still have all the receipts])
-2 years left on the paint jobs warranty
-has an alarm system
-AC works and blows ice cold
-New JVC head unit and speakers
-had a blown head gasket, got it resurfaced, new head bolts, etc etc. 1 year warranty on the head work have receipts and everything
-lowered on kyb shocks/tokico springs.
cons:
-smallllllll AND I MEAN SMALL dent on the drivers side door
The starting price is 4.5k for all you lowballers, Taking trades of equal value as well, and if your car is worth less then mine, expect to add cash on top, interested in anything honda 94 and up. I know what I have and I know what its worth.

Here's a recommendation:
Take it upon yourself to have the shop right their wrong without any buyer involvement to get $4,500. This isn't the buyers responsibility and you shouldn't try to get the buyer involved with it.
That, or cut your losses and sell the car as a mechanics special at a mechanics special price. Which more than likely won't exceed $2,500.

If you don't know what you're doing and not mechanically inclined then why/how are you able to assume the fix is easy.... lol
Sorry but I suggest taking the engine back and getting a new engine, people would rather just buy a clean shell and a new engine separately anyways
if it did overheat then it is NOT, I repeat NOT, going to be an easy fix (for you. :]) . You have to pull it all apart, resurface the head, might as well rebuild everything while youre in there anyways.
Sorry for ragging on you.
Bretx0r's right though

But I'm just saying..there's super clean ek hatches w/swaps clean title going for that price or less that's how I based my price for my car..no one especially on Honda tech is gonna buy a super stock auto car for more then 3000, if that...but u know what ur cars worth so it's ur price it also depends in how much of a hurry u r in to sell..I had a green 4dr super clean 5speed 96 civic had all kinds of mods I sold for 2500

i don't understand what compels people to post things like that.
the seller should be able to price their cars/parts for whatever they please.
if you don't like it then move along. simple as that.
