I just picked up a transmission from local importer with an "issue" and hoping to fix it. It has been a while since I did any work on trannies but figured not a big deal but this one has got me baffeled. According to importer tranny worked in all gears but Reverse.

I have taken apart the tranny, looked at all the pieces but nothing jumps at me. Everything slides moves and looks great, on bench it works as it should (without the top case). So I put the top piece of the case, in which time, I am able to get all gears and shift but the second I shift into Reverse it gets stuck in it. I've inspectect the selector and nothing jumps at me.
Any insight and help is appriceated.
