I'm doing some pricing and hunting for an engine swap. I'm pretty sure I want to do an H swap. Fits in both price range and power. I'm in the Air Force, living in dorms, and don't have access to a shop or tools. I'm looking for a reputable shop that I can take my car to. Columbia, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, anywhere in SC really. Any suggestions? Is there anyone you guys have experience with?

I have found a few threads on this but all were before 2004 and long gone.

You guys don't have a hobby shop on base? I've always wished I had access to something like that...

 

We did, but they closed it down for renovations, and now its permanently shut down until further notice. They dont even know if its even coming back. My last base had an excellent one, but Shaw sucks pretty bad.
