does anybody have any prices on sunroof removal or anything becasue well heres my story. i have a 92 civic hb cx and the previouse owner of this car was not very smart because he installed a aftermarker sunroof in the car it leaks hella and im just in the restoration process. im extra salty cuz i dont have pictures of when i first bought it. it was totaly destroyed and i could show yall some pics of where i am now in the process if yall wanted. but anyways back to my original question i want to remove the sunroof to clean it up. cuz cx hb never came with sunroofs so i want it gone cuz everytime i use it i feel like a ricer lol but anyway im more of a diy person so what would be the best way to remove the sunroof and still have the strength and curve of the roof. anything will help. if a body shop is the best way to go then i will cuz i have fam mem in the body shop biz to get a deal but just lmk what yall think i should do.

 

Er what? Not that this is a Civic issue but the sunroof is probably just some bolts/screws holding it on. As far as the restoration on the roof you'll have to have a whole new roof skin welded in.

I suggest you seek out quotes from body shops if you don't know how to weld.

Since you won't post pics the removal of the sunroof is on you to figure out.

 

Easiest would be chop off the roof or a chunk of the roof and weld it where its supposed to go. For best streghnth chop the roof off and put the one one without the hole because its one piect but id just get the chunk n weld
