Default ULEV vs LEV cat questions??

I have a 2000 honda accord ex, ULEV, 4 cyl, living in NH. recently getting the p0420 code and know my cat is bad.

Questions is, do i have to replace the cat with a California specific cat because it's a ULEV engine or can I buy the 49 state emissions cat? looking to buy a magnaflow and it's about $166 vs $380, for the 50 state vs 49 state. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You should be fine by getting a 49 state cat.
