Default Hi-perf. fuel pump. 4th gen, plz.

I know there are universal fuel pumps out there but I have a '93 Vtec and was looking for an in-tank pump. Does anyone know who makes one for my car that is in the tank and not external. Don't want the big noise.

Do you want a high pressure one, or just a higher flow?

Walbro and Holley make them. Just about any intank pump for Honda's and Integras will go intank in your car with little to no modification.

BBK makes one. It's a pretty easy install.

Yes, i'd just get a walboro. Holley just rebadges walboro pumps and charges $50 more. I have the walboro in mine and it works well, and it's smaller than the oem pump!

Check with Viren for a pump at a good deal: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=270859&page=1

The ones mentioned above are all fine for turbo apps. Do you plan on using an fmu, or a standalone setup like hondata?

I don't mean to be so ignorant, but what's the difference between the in-tank pump and the external pump? Of course besides the literal meaning pros/cons?

I think my fuel pump crapped out on me....I don't hear it when i turn the key and my car doesn't start as of today. Engine cranks, then turns, then dies.

I want to go turbo also sometime next year, which is the better buy, the regular 255 or the high flow model? thanks

The other ones not high flow, it's high pressure. It's for people who use Rising Rate Fuel Pressure regulators with turbos. At stock fuel pressures even the stock pump can flow enough to support quite a bit of horsepower, but when pressure start ramping up the flow dies quickly.

Some pumps are just too large to put in tank or inconvenient. I have a Bosch pump inline just because it would require a good amount of modification to put it in tank.

I took out the intank pump alltogether and replaced it with this. Some people put an extra secondary fuel pump inline instead of just replacing the intank pump. Drag does this with their turbo kits. If you're forced to put the pump outside the tank it's generally a little noisier.
