93 civic auto to manual swap - engine mount questions
i have 2 93 civics one manual and one automatic, was a retard and didnt look on the internet first so i didnt know i needed a different tranny mount. First thing will this work
http://www.ebay.com/itm/92-95-CIVIC-...db67ae&vxp=mtr
and the second thing i see is the rear mount i see i need to swap it to the manual one but will i need to move it over or just mount it back into the same spot.
as of right now it looks like the only thing i need it the tranny mount because the other two look like i can get them in without changing anything

That conversion mount should work. Is it a true innovative mount or a replica? I wouldnt cheap out on one. My buddy did and the bushing completely ripped out after a month.
Also you should be able to mount the rear mount back in the same spot, you just have to push the motor around a bit.

awesome thank you ok one more thing do the cv axles need to be changed it seams like i should be able to use the manual ones all tho the faq says to use the auto ones it seams like they will be to long
You can use either set of axles, they're both the same. The only difference in the rear mount is the manual version is stronger, the dimensions are the same. Rear T-bracket is the same between both.
That conversion mount will work, or you can drill the spot welds out of the bracket welded to frame rail and weld on the manual version and use an OEM manual top rubber mount.

thanks so much for your help. but i ran into another problem. it wont start, well the starter wont engage.everythings getting power. i havent tryed jumping the starter. because the key wont come out. so i think its some kind of relay from the auto tranz lock that wont let you take the key out. unless its in park. any ideas?
