they are still available ...
i kitted out every EF i ever owned besides one CRX .. but i think its time for a stock bodied EF hatchy for myself ... but i found a couple good deals on ones with WW kits, and i wouldnt mind it again ... as long as the car is the right color i think they look good

In my opinion, it all boils down the age of the car now.
I'm 37 and I remember those days of WW kits quite vividly... But that was (gasp!) almost 20 years ago (I feel old now) and the ED chassis was just being traded in and sold used for a decent price and most were still in good shape. Now, at 25 years old (if built in 1987 as my 88 was), there's not many left on the roads and 70% of what I've seen are in pretty rough shape, neglected DDs or winter beaters. Coupled with the JDM craze/fad that had the remaining 30% who kept them in good shape removing their bodykits to stay relevant at shows, and you see where we are today.
It's nice to see so many people on forums like H-T and elsewhere actually fixing up their EDs and EFs, restoring them, and making them shine once again... I truly believe that one day we will come full circle and these cars will be collector items - this generation's 57 Bel Air or 67 Mustang. Eventually more people will see the value in taking - even the neglected beaters - and restoring them. One day I think we will see companies like Year One expanding their offering of body panels to include these beloved imports and eventually they will sell for hundreds of thousands at Barrett Jackson... right around the time we're all retiring and wanting to recapture some of the innocence of our youth.
Or maybe I'm just delusional and it's all because that **** just isn't cool anymore LOL. I am almost middle aged after all, WTF do I know about cool? (it's probably not even called 'cool' anymore).

Me and my kid are having a blast messing around with a 90 si. I already think this gen. is a classic worthy of occupying this father/son tradition. Side skirts are on the list...

Your & Eric's where the ones I always looked while my kit sat in the garage.
I consider myself oldschool and I always told myself I would put it on the EF, even though people craved over the JDM stuff.
believe it or not i actually found a local kid who had one the car he bought.... it's in decent shape and I figured having extra parts is a good thing considering it's was only $100 for the entire kit. lol

I really want to try out one of these WW spoilers on my stock 89 when I get the body restored. I have their front lip & duckbill on my EG and those parts are fantastic. Anyone have any info on fit/finish etc of this wing:
I wanted to say almost exactly what Jhmed; just ran short on time. Minus the classic factor. Don't get me wrong, I believe there will alway be a following but they wont be worth big money like say a Supra or RX7 will be.
Yes I Totally agree, I'm 36 now and own a 89 crx si with a Wings west body kit. When I built the car in 00-01 the big thing was Body kits and big wheels. So I built it to look like the wings west crx with 17" wheels. Car looks great and pretty mint. I go to local car shows and see a big difference with the trends now.I also say to myself where do these kids get the money to do these crazy mods, Whe i was 18 with my first crx I went 1 Size up on my wheels and got some 3 spoke primax wheels and I was a baller.Things have def changed from when I was a kid,But what stood the same was the love of the game and that will never change.
that ef looks nice and i love it that its well done not just hanging half off and **** the thing i never liked about body kits its that they have that chicken wire in the back but at least its better than what the stupid kids do now put some ugly *** rear diffuser
I got a pre RS series kit on my car from wingswest as well as the popular RS series kit of the time era. Go to a body kit warehouse and you'd be surprised what they might have hiding somewhere in their building that they are dying to get rid of.

very cool to see em still gettin love!
i havent bought an EF yet so i dont have to decide which way to go yet, but i do like the factory look .. id REALLY like a RHD converted JDM front end i could give a damn about fads back in the early 90s that was my DREEEEAM .. B16 with just i/h/e all jdm parts suspension and all
i agree things are crazier now, but also some things are cheaper .. hell last swap i bought was in about 99 and was $5000 for a gsr installed into a EG i had at the time with i/h/e LOL

I have always liked the ww kit. I might get another Ef and install the kit on it. But I also dig a painted Ef. All the black painted to body colors. We will see how mine turns out.
I remember always staring at his car on "cardomain" when I was younger and I love how it really hasn't changed much over the years.
i told eric that i liked how he knew when to stop modding it cause somepeople don't know when enough is enough.
Also it's cool that he's kept it all these years cause so many times i see people build a car then part it out or sell it just to jump on a new "trend"...
