I've been told that the LSD from the Civic VTi tranny will work on any SOHC hydro tranny, can't verify that as of yet. I was told to check out All-Nipponmotors.com

12-15 hp is with what type of current mods?

How does the car idle with the addition of this cam?

I'm running the street/strip cam from Zex, which is actually manufactured and designed by CompCams. It's really affordable and added a LITTLE bit of power. My car is running really crappily so I don't even know it's potential. I get killed by 1.5L DX CRX's and DX hatches every day.

I have a d16z6 and was thinkin about gettin a cam too, from the research i did it sounds like the zex street/strip is the only way to go, i haven't heard much about the exospeed one though, so thats another option.

I have the ZEX street/strip cam in right now. My head is milled .020, so my cam timing is automatically retarded almost 3 degrees, and most don't show gains with this cam until they advance it about 2 or 3 degrees. But with the cam in, I have noticed quite a jump in low RPM torque and hp. Up to about 4000 it pulls way stronger, but since my cam's retarded, I level out above that. I'll make a post when I get my cam gear and springs/retainers. I should see some better numbers then, since the cam's good to 7800. Some guy on here with a Del Sol Si put the street/strip cam, advanced 3 degrees and a K&N filter, and went from 15.7 to 14.7!!

zex street/strip cam is a good choice, too bad my wife bought me one for Christmas last year with a skunk2 cam gear and I traded my car in 1 month later for an integra. I wasn't planning on trading in my car at that time so I didn't take out the camshaft or cam gear and the dealer made me an offer I couldn't resist. Kinda bums me out when I think about it because I could have sold to someone on this board to help them out for cheap. oh well

regrinds suck? i have tried the crowers when they first came out and they arent that aggressive. Our regrinds are pushing more HP and just as reliable.

my own personal car has 100K+ miles on the cam and motor. hit 13.6 4yrs ago and 3 yrs later was still hitting 13.6
keep in mind that was on a stock bottom end. no milling. all motor.
and still got 35mpg.

we are so busy at the moment with finishing our race car for the next season, so once we get some free time, I'll get some update dyno numbers on our cams.

check out our website in a week or 2, we should have the diff stages for each motor.

i herd that u can put integra ls cams on them. they say that they can produce 12-15 hp and handle to 300-almost 400 hp. but u would have to go to the machine shop and have them shorten.
