Icon2 Valet button on 98 civic oem radio HELP?

Ok guys, so I have a 1998 civic coupe. My old keyless remote has a constante red lite on it ever since I changed the battery. I read that means its past help. So I bought a used on on eBay that is the exact same kind. I read that you have to hold down on the valet button on the oem radio to program it, right? Well I have an aftermarket system but my oem is still under the dash. When I looked to see where the button is, I can't find it, all the buttons and outer part of the radio is gone, just the vitals are there. So..... yeah, what do I do? Is there still somewhere to push even though there is no button? PLEASE help, I am desperate and this has been racking my brain for many days! Thanks!

Thanks, I already saw that post. I still don't know where the Valet button is if the head plate to teh radio is not there. I don't know what button to push. What am I supposed to do if the head plate to the radio is missing?

Well, based on the illustration the bottom appears to be located near the upper right side. There should be some indication of a button.

Do you have a picture?

Yes I finally took a picture of it, but the site wont let me include it. It doesnt allow me to send it. The front of the radio is pointed towards the back and is way under the dashboard, however I can kind of see it. It looks like the insides were just taken out of the radio and put in a harness. There is no faceplate or anything. So where would I be able to find the valet button?

Toss the OEM radio, get an alarm, remote start or just a key-less entry and wire up the stock door locks, done. 94
