Tranny Fluid
Forgive me if this has been covered before but i have some questions i wanna get out of the way before i fit my box into the car , its a stock gsr box so nothing special there but im considering switching over to motul 300 75w90 , now will that be safe to run in a oem tranny?
reason im asking is because on my last track day i felt the shift's were not as smooth once i got some laps done. friend of mine is running amsoil fluid in his box and he said it felt great over the honda mtf and his shift's were smooth through the 5 heats , 45 laps or so
I use Honda MTF in my K series Honda Challenge car and never have any issues. I do however change the oil every other weekend of use because I do notice the breakdown of it. I have used torco mtf and that's pretty good stuff, as well as the Motul FF series oil.

i'm running oem acura MTF in my k trans, alot of abusive miles and mis-shifts and the trans still shifts very smooth. I'm going to keep using this fluid unless i start doing hardcore road racing or something that will make my fluid real hot
No Honda MTF or Redline MTL or Redline MT90 in any tranny I build.
A road reacing customer of mine, who supplies me my Torco fluids, we are seeing issues with RTF, he tried a 50/50 mix of Torco MTF/RTF the last big NASA weekend and still having some issues.
