Tried the search but no luck. Their seems to be no answer for the y80 also does any one have it on their B16 now? Whats the pros and cons on this tranny on the B16?

i had it very good gas mileage freeway friendly fast top speeds
never tried b16 trans so dont really know differenes between teh 2 on a b16 sorrrrrrrrrrry

It is not that bad. The gearing is a little taller then y21 so at freeway speeds it pulls a little les revs. I have 205/40/16 kumho tires and going about 65 mph indicated (actual 60 mph) is about 3k rpm, 4k is about 80 mph indicated (76 mph actual).

 

i have the same problem... im riding and coasting at 80 but some old lady come cruisng by with her denali on 20's...WTF? am driving slow *** hell or is she speeding?

im riding on 205\40\r16... thats my problem... you might want to get a y80... handles more abuse then a b16 tranny...

 

anyone else got performance experience from the Y80?
