I have a 2002 RSX Type-S. The door locks only lock/unlock with the key. Using the switches inside the car doesn't work and neither do either remotes, although the lights flash and the locks make a sound, so I know the signal is being received. I think this means the actuator needs replacing, but wanted confirmation before I buy the part and take my car apart. Please confirm that this is my issue.

Definitely sounds like the actuator. I would take the panel off and take a power tester to the actuator to confirm.
