Help! Which Harness OR combination of Harness' to use???
I'm stuck,I got everything I need for the lsvtec swap into an 89 si but I'm missing the engine harness =/ I've searched and even emailed a few sites to get answers but no clear answers. It's a b16 head from a 99 Si with a chipped p105 chrome "gold" ecu...I dont have any harness',will a jdm crx harness work?...Any info will be greatly appreciated.
you need an 88-91 si harness.
the jdm harness will work in a jdm crx OR it will work in a car that has been completely converted to right hand drive jdmness.

Sweet, thank you.I will need to wire VTEC,correct?Or simply have a shop make one using the existing harness.? The car has a sohc zc (thats how I picked it up).Sorry for all the ?'s,I'm a lost one when it comes to wiring =/
there is no such thing as an 88-91 si harness. there is 88 si and 89-91 si. OP you need a harness that matches your body harness. in your case you need an 89-91 si harness. once you have that you can do the proper vtec mods/additions and wiring to ecu (obd0, obd1 or obd2 what ever you choose).
if you need one lmk i can make you one to match your set up.

ive found that the 88 and the 89 are specific to the years and the 90-91 are interchangeable but as a rule of thumb always use the engine harness that goes to the car and just modify it to work with the engine ie splice and put the connectors on it. best way to do it imo.

I've built many stock replacement and swap harnesses. And they are only 88 and 89-91 specific
