Default My Subwoofer enclosure

Nothing special but it bumps very nicely with the 600+wRMS my 500a2 pumps into it. The only reason why i have the back seat folded down and the subs faced into the cabin was because it was the middle of Spring and i wanted to hear the difference, i like the way they sound when faced back into the trunk, better SQ because the bass is not so over powering!

I was experimenting with them when i had it faced into the cabin as you see in the picture. I had it that for about a week to just see which direction sounded better. It definately sounds better faced toward the rear. When faced toward the cabin its blocked by the rear seat and the air does not have any room to travel. The clear coat on my trunk is peeling off due to the bass pressure. If i am wrong, does anyone else know of any reason for the clear coat to peel off??? It's only happening on the trunk and is not exposed to anything that would make it happen.
