d16a6 cam question.
i saw on a thread a few days ago about puttin the a6 cam in a d15b1, and they mentioned something about using a different cam gear? i cant find that thread either. so if anyone has any info please let me know. thanks
The lift on a b2 cam and an a6 has been argued to be the same or very very close to the same. the lift on a b2 cam from an auto trans car actually has more lift than even the si cam on the exhaust side.

theres actually a little evidence from the FSM. so it seems an auto dx cam from a d15b2 would be better than the a6 cam and you might not have to change cam gears.

the b2 cam on the exhaust side has 0.003 mm more lift. thats not going to be worth anything in power.
the HF cam is the one that has the most lift, that is the d15b6 cam, and it is only from a 5 spd, and it is also in an 8 valve head, not a 16 valve head.
