Mac valve boost solenoid worked great for the past few weeks after being installed. Drove the car and parked it..came back 5 min later turned the key on a click,click,click...wont stop clicking, the relay does not stop clicking until i turn the key back off. Anyone ever had this issue? Im assuming it has to be something ECU related since its such a basic system and i know the wiring is fine. i just figured id ask

 

Yeah because its trying to do its job all the time. You need to configure your ems to only activate the pwm above a certain vss, rpm or load so it wont be on all the time.

 

How come it did it all of a sudden and was fine for so long? Does not make sense in my head. But im sure i dont fully understand the system.

 

I dont know. Try kicking it.
