Has anybody weighed it?

Like a complete front knuckle with loaded calipers?

And loaded rear trailing arm?

I always hear people say its ~60+ lbs heavier, but where is that weight coming from?

Is it bc I the bigger rotors and calipers primarily?

Could one use floating hat rotors and 4pot forged aluminum calipers and break even with say a civic vx / cx as far as weight?

 

Got a complete and loaded 5 Lug setup here for sale, So i threw it on the scales for you




As pictured:
Each Front Control Arm Weighed: 45.5lbs
Each Rear Trailing Arm Weighed: 33.5lbs

For a total of 158lbs.

Is that a jdm or usdm 5-lug?

I just purchased an 88 civic std (supposedly the lightest modern civic chassis), and I will weigh my parts also.

 

No clue haha. Sounds like a cool project though, I have a 88 HF Crx myself

 

36mm axle nuts or 32mm?
