car:
96 ek hatch
stock struts on H&R springs (yes i no it was temp until i save money for real suspension n i finally got 1 step closer)
so waiting on shipping BUT
my stock struts are blown, will that ruin my stiff H&R springs by making it soft?
or am i better off buying another set of new lowering springs > sell these H&R springs > then save up for GROUND CONTROL ????
keep in mind il be buying new springs at around $50-$100
then selling my used springs at around $50-100 also

No. There are koni specific gc's though. The idea is that they allow you to omit the perch and rest the sleeve directly on the circlip. The normal sleeves may also be used, but they are designed to sit in the oe style lower perch.
OP, you can get your konis now. They should be a good match with your h&r's (I'm guessing race or sport). Your Ground Controls will go right on whenever you get them.

got em and installed them today
took 1 hour n 30 min area all by myself (took that long ONLY because i had to look up a manual to put it together then all 3x struts were easy, only 1 was hard [front] for some odd reason
anyways i like them, im new to suspension and all ive ever drove on was blown shocks lol
i do notice a difference, my koni eats the bumps and then stops shaking. which is pretty good.
now the question is
how stiff shud i go or leave it stock rates?

no did you read the directions that came with the shocks. you just use the white **** with the arrow on it and turn the adjuster on top the shock half turns until you get the feeling you want

ive done suspension probably 10-15 times now in 2 cars lol.
i think i need to tighten the front forks a lil more, fronts really dumped haahah
the instructions SUCK loool, read too that koni instructions suck.
im just wondering if when using the **** spinning the suspension, will i hear the "click" sounds like ur suppose on one piece suspensions

And no, there are no "clicks". Koni doesn't constraint you to arbitrary stops along the adjustment curve.
I have had my GC sleeves sitting in my basement since last February and I need to get them installed in the worst way, LOL. I have been waiting to get a set of Koni Yellows. My spring rates are 380 front 350 rear
