Whats up guys today i got a ticket violation code 27156(b) VC, that is marked as non-correctable State Ref required. With all my modifications, it would be near impossible for me to bring it back to acceptable levels. I don't even have any of the stock parts anymore.

Beside going through the long process of stripping my car down, do I have any options? If i pay the fine, what happens after that?

My one and only question to you, other than bringing my car to acceptable CARB levels (near impossible), what other options do I have?

AND YES I HAVE LEARNED MY LESSON, MY NEXT CAR WILL BE STOCK

go to court, tell them you sold the car, pay the court fees and be on your way.

 

I just payed the 250 they charge for the ticket. If u say u sold the car and get another ticket youll be charged with purgery.

 

just tell them you bought it back... sign it over to a brother sister friend... whatever.

 

Gotta go to court and see a judge...Say you blew your motor, he will probably make you pay $250+ for bail, but atleast it'll be over with.

I got one of those tickets a yr or two ago I just went to te court window paid $350 and that was that.

 

I've had a couple of situations where the clerks at the window didn't take my payment, and some did.

When they did take my payment, I told them I lost my ticket and was wondering if they can look up how much I owed on their computer systems... Paid it!

Another time I took my ticket up with me, and the clerk noticed it required a State ref inspection...So she made me go to court...Then the judge had me pay bail...

I went to court, seen the judge and told him the car wasn't running. I paid a $150 fine and was on my way

 

Thanks again for all the replies. I will try to pay for it at the window, but what i didnt mention is that the F***** cop got me for supposedly speeding.

When he asked me to sign the ticket, i asked very politely if i could see the speed gun reading that shows where i was going 40 mph, because i knew i was not going nowhere near 40 mph. He immediately said no. I then asked why not? as soon as i asked why not he asked me to step out of the car and place my hands on the car and he said that i was going to jail for not wanting to sign the ticket. He then took out the handcuffs and asked me once again if i was going to sign the ticket. At that point i agreed to sign the ticket. AS SOON AS I AGREED HE PUSHED ME AGAINST MY CAR (not hard but completely uncallled for, as i was complying with all his commmands)

He then told me to sit on the curb and said "now for being a smart mouth in going to **** you over for your modifications".

Once he looked under my hood and wrote me the ticket for speeding and modifications he told me to sign the ticket. I then asked him "So the only reason why you are ******* me over is because i asked you a question?". And he replied " YEA SO NEXT TIME YOU KNOW TO KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!"

Im going to file a complaint against this **** and fight the speeding ticket. This is my first moving violation and never had dealt with a cop that acted like this. Now i know why everyone hates cops.

When was this and what city? Where at? Cuz I saw a cop had someone pulled over with a person sitting on the curve. Blue civic? Dammit I can't remember when lol.

When sheriff pulls me over, its always the same routine, get out, padded down for gun or stuff, thrown in back of cop car, search my car and when they clear my license n car, they let me go with nothing. You guys are lucky to get hood popped n ****. Sucks to get yelled at by a cop lol. But its true, keep your damn lips shut and let them do when they do best. And be on your way. .

I say contest the citation. But request for 1 extension date and after that, pay for the ticket amount an then contest it. They will give you another date with teh officer. Then you can tell what you just posted to the judge. I don't think the judge will say "well son, you should have kept your mouth shut"...

 

I agree with pata next time shut the F up..
I hate when I get pulled over with friends in the car and they start running they're mouth about you can't do this and that.. just be happy the cop didn't pop a cap in your *** cause they can and nothing happens to them if they do.
Extend the ticket online and over the phone as long as you can then fight the ticket.
When you go to court odds are he won't show up. If he does ask for the maintenance records of the speed radar.
Your lucky he didn't buddy club your ***

I got the same ref ticket 2 times!!!!! first you have to go see the judge no mater what... my first time was last year and all i did was see the judge and pay $480.00 and that was it... the last time about 6-8 mouths ago (and i got a speeding ticket 22349 (A) VC & 27156 (B) with it as did you) the judge said i had to fix it or sale it or send it to the junk yard!!!!! so i sold it to a friend and make sure you go to DMV or AAA cuz they will ask for paper work and check with DMV right there... and that was it... this is all you can do non of that other BS will work like saying u blew the motor or its not running cuz i tried that and he said i only have 3 options fix it or sale it or send it to the junk yard.... and when he said fix it he was saying take it to the ref!!!!! but this is all up to the judge you get cuz the one i had was looking in a big *** book with all the VC in it to see!!!!!
