what would be a reasonable price to buy a h22 vtec head for a h23 vtec build ? im not familiar with pricing on h parts

 

Depends on demand and availability in your area. Generally I would say 2-300 for the head, and intake manifold, and maybe another 50 - 100 bucks for the water pipe and such that you need.

Timing belt and water pump I would get new, and if you are that far into the engine, maybe a new oil pump, and possibly new rings and bearings as well, so pretty much a full rebuild.

 

yeah i have a complete h23a1 small block and a complete longblock just no tranny
