Default '94 Accord Starting issue.

I'm having issues getting my '94 Accord Ex 5-speed starting. Went out one day to go to class and it just simply wouldn't crank or anything. No noises, nothing. Thought it may be a starter issue so I replaced the starter, still no luck. Lights work, radio works, windows work. Tried to give it a jump to add extra juice to the battery just in case, still nothing.

I have a 95 Honda Accord that just stopped running as I drove down the road. The car shut off and the door locks open as if I had turned off the ignition. When I tried to start it the engine would turn and as soon returned key to 2nd position on ignition switch it would shut off. I noticed that the dash (idiot) lights would not turn on when I turned the switch on without turning over the engine.... I s the switch bad???

First thing I would check is the clutch switch located at the back of the clutch pedal. You could try running power straight to the starter with the ignition in the start position, bypassing the starter circuit.

Thank you very much! Found the problem by following the arm of the clutch pedal all the way up and found where the clutch safety switch should be engaged when the clutch is pushed in and the blue plastic piece wasn't there. What do you know, found a broken blue plastic piece on the floor of my car. Same thing happened with my brake lights, they were always on, taped a penny to the arm of the brake pedal so it pushes in on the switch when the brake pedal isn't pushed in. Unfortunately its a tight fit to get to the switch and can't fit my fingers and a penny up into the area. Would you suggest taking off the clutch pedal and putting it back on, or is this just a pain in the butt?

I would recommend using this

If you take the brake pedal it will be a pain in the *** to put the spring back.
