Icon3 91 CIVC DX HATCH with blown head gasket - need input on replacing head

I HAVE A 1991 HONDA CIVC DX HATCH AND BLEW ANOTHER HEAD GASKET IM THINKING ABOUT PUTTING A VTEC HEAD ON I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT HEAD OR WHAT ELSE I NEED TO MAKE IT RUN PROPERLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO PLEASE LET ME KNOW

Same thing happened to me picked up a used motor on craigslist and im in the process of swapping the motors

dpfi to mpfi
obd0-obd1
wire up vtec.

Try and google all your questions before posting up a thread

Does a mpfi throttle cable work with both the z6 and y8 manifold?

If your continuously popping head gaskets, you may want to see about getting your block looked at. May need to be machined/decked. Then you'll have a nice, clean, and level surface to mount your new head.

^^^ along with what agreencrx said when you get the new head also make sure that too is flat so problems wont arise in the future

also wanna be accurate with the torquing when putting the head back if your a bit off youll keep poping head gaskets and "BIGef" is right its all the just look

thanks guys but my dad says it blew this time because i had a oil leak and didnt keep an eye on it. what do you mean i need to make sure the new head is flat and does anyone know what kind of vtec head will fit a d15b motor
