Default 94 civic EG d15b7 turbo kit

I know this has probably been a topic thats been posted over and over again, but I have always wanted a turbo EG. Well now I have the EG and all I need is the turbo....GOT BOOST?

Please anyone that has this set-up or can point me in the right direction please post. I have seen a lot of "kits" of ebay and such that are under a thousand dollars but I know you get what you pay for and with a Greedy being $3500 I'm a bit reluctant to buy an ebay kit. If anyone could help me out with making the right purchase. I have seen guys on here that use an eBay turbo kit but will it last?

I would like to purchase and have the turbo in by November.

Don't need the smart remarks nor do I have time, if you can't help or be an adult then don't bother posting.

Main goal is to keep it a daily driver with a/c. My budget well I never really thought about it I guess as high as 3 grand. I'm not looking to break any speed records I just want something that gets it pretty good and can also be driven anywhere and back.

If you don't like it then don't post. I asked for help not bullshit. And yes numb nuts I know how a motor works, I probably know more then you. All motor 94 ex 14.1 1/4 mile on a d16 and a b20 DA build with a zex system. So save your smart *** remarks for someone that wants them I do not. Either help answer my question or STFU.

i know plenty bruh, the first thing i did was research for about a year before i even asked a non commonly asked questioned.

as for your question, most likely its on the first page of the force induction along with 4 other people asking the same thing and say the same thing and want to spend the same amount oh ya, they always say "please" and "thank you"

just spend two weeks monitoring this forum and youll see what the regulars see on a weekly basis.

everything you need to know without asking the common question, is on this thing called the world wide web

these links are from page 1 of force induction.

Back in the day we just slapped a zex kit on and called it good. I have never built anything boosted I keep seeing guys with these eBay kits and that seems cheap but how long till they blow out? I was all about the all motor then I put the zex on my b20 build and was scared to death to use it, the car was smoking wrxs. Now after driving evos and wrxs I want to boost my eg always wanted a boosted hatch and now I can build it.

you are better off reading through the FI forum, hundreds of pages of recent info specific to what you are looking for.

Well I posted asking for info/help on a kit and get a bunch of bs and crying about deleting my post. I'm not really looking to make 400 hp or anything. I just want the car to be a daily driver plus I know that little d series will pop if I pump to much into it. I think my goal would be around 8lbs of boost.

so your looking for about 180-200 hp? cause with a small dsm turbo you can make that at the crank.

Thank you thats the kind of thing I was looking for. Yeah 200hp would be fine I guess. Now my other question is whats up with the ebay kits are they a waist of time? I see a couple threads where guys bought turbos on ebay and the cylinder wall were scored, rods bent and pistons melted. Now I know one guy was running lean on a hot day so thats why. The whole reason for the FI and not a swap was to keep the car feeling the same handling wise. As of now the car is really fun in the hills but a little more power would be nice to pull it up hill.
