RPM LOW

I own a Honda Civic EK3 model, when the air conditioner is on, the rpm would decrease to a value below 1000, lets say like 700 or so.
normally, it used to stay approx. 1100 rpm.
what can be my problem?

iirc 500-750 rpm is considered normal, 1000+ is high.

Do you think the MAP sensor may be an issue here?

around 700 rpm is normal right? and with a/c switched on it should go up about 50 or so

It will NOT go up with the A/C on. And the tachs in these cars are really not that accurate.
