Default Looking for input on new exhaust/mufflers.

I have a 2001 Honda Accord, LX 4 door, V6 model. I've recently been looking into replacing my stock mufflers with aftermarket.

I have a couple questions:

First and foremost, what would you guys suggest? (I am not looking for anything loud but more of mild sound, something kind of like a deep purr, rather than a loud *brapp* type sound sounding like its coming from the inside of a metal coffee tin, I don't want that)

Are there any aftermarket that will bolt right in? Or am I going to have to do some welding and such things?

I have been looking into flowmaster either the 50 delta flow series or the 60 delta flow series, are they a good choice? Or is there something better?

Thank you for any help!

I used 5Zigen fireball catbacks on my V6. Not your typical fart can muffler. Has a nice deeper tone and not much louder than stock. Straight bolt on as it uses factory hangers.

The ebay fart cannon catbacks are decent and they come with silencers. Mine has been holding up for 4 years now with little rust.

Looked at some videos and sound clips and I like the sound of them, having trouble finding where to buy though, any pointers?

Still open for other suggestions as well.

I also had a set of Acura CL-S mufflers on my car. Not sure if they would fit a 4-dr.

Without a doubt.....Maganflow-nice low rumble at idle and a beast when opened up, I had one on an 01 Jetta=Great!!!, I since sold the Jetta and bought my current 2010 accord coupe V6. Full cat back on that one and its a beast, My son also put a full cat back on his 97 accord (F22B1) and it is really nice. will be going Maganflow on my 94 Accord (F22B1) also. I have not found another Exhaust system that works and sounds better.
Also as an FYI......dont go cheap.....if you want performance and reliability with a fit made for your car.....spoend the money.

I had a Dynomax Super Turbo on my old MR2. Didn't sound bad at all. Had a clean tone to it.
