Default FT-FS: 1977 Yamaha XS650 Cafe Racer show bike

Im in Joliet IL. Not afraid to travel a couple miles for a trade if its worth it.

WILL NOT SHIP BIKE (unless I put it in the back of my vw caddy when it gets out of the shop and you have something worth making me travel for)

text me at 815-280-three three five nine - Jason

Looking for non rusted non molested CRX or a very clean 4g4d4wd or a truck F250 ish

Something that hasn't been used as a bumpercar and can pull a car/cars in/on a trailer.

Show me what you got.

Also at this point I am interested in a lot of cool stuff. Jetboats, trucks, jeeps, jet ski's, guns, vw's, vw work done on my mk1 rabbit or body work done on my vw caddy, daily drivers etc......

I value the bike at $4500 if your trade is less, then cash will be needed on your end unless I REALLY like it. OF COURSE I will take cash.

I like cool and eclectic stuff so don't offer me stock boring crap unless its a CRX or F250

I will also trade for a ridiculous nice set of 15" BBS 4x100 wheels and some cash.

Whatever you have to trade I need pictures (more than 1 myspace angle at night 5 years ago) and descriptions. Don't tell me you have this awesome crx wanna trade? and thats all I have to go on.

Too much to list about the bike. Complete frame off nut and bolt (stainless allen head) restoration. Either you like it or you dont. Its pretty hardcore with the dual megaphone mufflers, big dual disc brakes on the front, has tons of torque its the first thing you notice when you crack the throttle, and its kick start only but has the electric start equipment on the handlebars you just need to install the starter. Its not for the faint of heart. I never have time for it as I have put about 100 miles on it in almost 3 years and 50 of those were last month. Has ~900 miles on the rebuild and I was told around 4,000 original miles but have no way to verify it. Doesn't matter 100% of the bike is pretty much brand new anyway.

I drove the bike around the block once in this past year. Before that I lived in a subdivision and only drove it through the winding roads of the subdivision on Sundays. It just sits in my garage as a conversation piece when people come over. It needs to go to a better home that can enjoy it.

Only takes a couple kicks to get it started if it hasn't ran in awhile (could use new plugs). After that you can bet money its starting 1st kick all day.

Previous owners description:

(bike had just over 4000 miles when rebuilt) - every bolt on the bike is stainless steel allen head - twin Mikuni carbs with K&N filters - bike was stripped to the bare frame and all unnecessary tabs were ground off - frame painted silver and all bodywork painted white - gas tank is from a Honda CB 550 and the seat is from Omar's - seat has been modified to make room for the tail light - seat cushion was redone with firm padding - custom fit polished aluminum side covers - twin disc front end - polished aluminum shouldered rims - mini tach and speedometer gauges - turn signals front and rear - powder coated black clubman bars with Napoleon bar end mirror
Bike is kick start only - starts easily and runs very strong - short reverse cone megaphone mufflers sound great - these bikes are oil tight and bullet proof
Too many little details to list everything - must see to fully appreciate
Bike was originally set up as a street tracker - frame still has mounting points for high mount exhaust if you ever wanted to go that route - clean title in hand
