Default MiniMe Questions

Ok as my signature said I have stock 89 si hatch ( D16A6) and now I just want to add a little bit more power to it . With that being said, looks like the mini me is going to fit my budget and the HP . I have been searching and searching for like 3 days with different forums abut this swap and this is what I came up with ,
Parts list :

1) Z6 head from a 92-95 Civic Si/Ex*
2)Head gasket, intake gasket, and exaust gasket from 92-95 Civic Si/Ex*
3)Timing belt from 92-95 Civic Si/Ex *( Z6 belt is too tight , A6 belt is too long, USED D15B7 belt) .*
4)Valve cover gasket for a 92-95 Civic Si/Ex*
5)RPM Activated switch, or Vtec controller (such as Fields, or APEXi)*
6)Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator, or FPR from 92-95 Civic Si/Ex*
7)Z6 fuel rail.
8)Rywire obd0-obd1 vtec conversion harness
9)
10)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Recommended things to pick up (but not totally necessary):*
Change of oil/oil filter*
New Anti-freeze*
Impact Wrench (this could very well be a necessity!)*
New set of head-bolts*
New Spark-plugs, dist. cap, and rotor*

NOTE:

-Remove the oil control jet from the block using a small pin or screwdriver. It should just pop off, and requires no screwing, etc. BE CAREFUL! Where's the oil control jet? ( see link below) If you fail to remove the oil control jet, the oil pressure in the head will be too high, as it already has it's own oil control jet, and VTEC will never actuate.*

Clean off the pistons, and scrap the head gasket remains off your block. Be careful with this, and don't use anything hard such as a putty knife, as it will leave scratches, and destoy the integrity of the headgasket seal. All clean and purty now? Good. Lets go to the install...*

-SHOULDN'T use the D16Z6 timing belt on the A6 block.
D15Z1 - 103 teeth
D16Z6 - 104 teeth
D16Y8 - 104 teeth
D15B7 - 106 teeth - Used this belt
D16A6 - 107 teeth

Ok now I have a few questions and please chime in if you have done this before. Thanks in advance .

1) Can I use my stock A6 IM with the Z6 head or do I need the to get the z6 IM to match the Z6 head?

2) Should I go ahead changing out the head bolts/studs too or can I re-use the old one? Wait this has to be the Z6 bolts right?

3) For the Vtec wires: i see that most of them use the aftermarket switch ( item #5) for this but for me I really want to hook this up as An oem set up so how do I do this ?

4) I have to convert to OBD 1 right ? ( Z6 dizzy, injectors , P28 ECU )

5) Am I missing any info or parts here?

This is what the car looks like now ,

1. Yes
2. No the stock head bolts stretch when there torqued I'd reccomend ARPs or new oem ones I'm not positive on which ones to get I'd contact ARP directly.
3. Convert to obd1, your jumper harness should come with a pigtail of wires for vtec a 4 wire o2 sensor and a few other things.
4. Z6 dizzy, p28 Ecu and a jumper harness, you'll need either a dizzy jumper or cut and solder obd1 dizzy plugs on.. You don't need obd1 injectors but if you do get obd1 injectors you can delete your resistor box

I will contact them on Monday.

So if I get the jumper harness like you mentioned here and that will take care of the Vtec part? Anything else that I need connect ? Vtec solenoid ? And ??

I will get the jumper for the dizzy and if that u said I will keep my stock injector and it will work w the Z6 head?

Thank you for all the info. That u provided here . I appreciate it.
