Default F&F Type 1 Feedback?

I'm planning on getting these for my '00 Civic.
Anyone have them? How's the ride? How stiff?

I'm trying to cut my budget at $500, so F2's are out of the question.

These are chosen by the crowd that wants to just slam the car and scrape the streets. In that case the ride will suck no matter what. Unless you are preparing for a mild, reasonable drop?

Actually, a few people referred me to Racelands coilovers, so I think I'm gonna go with them. They're very reasonably priced.

i had a few s last night and don't feel so well today. not full on hungover, just a little out of 100% smiles and sunshine.

but i still feel better knowing that my suspension isn't subject to failure under extreme loads.

Here, why don't you get an opinion from people who actually have them, and experience with them. Keep searching, tons of info, but in the end they are just not reliable...PERIOD. I am in the shock business, I build dampers, and custom coilover suspension...you can find a lot of info on here and on other forums.

http://tl.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=860952
http://tl.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=867416

They are cheap twin tube shocks, nothing more, nothing less. They have quite a number of blown damper, and failures, and multiple customers who have blown more than 1 shock.
**** I remember seeing a picture on here from a customer who received a brand new set which already had a blown damper LOL. Slap a shipping label on it....that's it..and that is the risk you take...a customer getting a blown shock on a brand new set. Pathetic.....just cause they sell shocks, doesn't really mean they are in the shock business...more like a branded distributor.

Why you all still purchase this when this is something you find on pretty much on every forum that they make coilovers for. Ignorance, and you can't stop yourself from saving up for something quality. This is the facts, and the risk you take, and this can be your future.

If you have no problem taking the time to remove and reinstall this **** if you are one of the guys that have multiple issues with them then I feel sorry for you. I got better things to do with my time than to deal with crap..literally. It's great if they replace them, but when is enough is enough. 1 blown shock is enough, but 2, maybe 3..come on man!! Wow...is that worth the risk, especially for your hard earned money? Last time I checked my money didn't grow on a tree.

Are these suspesions really that good ?
I have an EJ2, which I intend on drinving almost exclusively on racetrack (Nürburgring, Spa, Zolder, and other across Western Europe), and these Raceland coilovers seem too good to be true.
I was planning on getting some Tokico Illumina, or even KONIs for a few bucks more. Is there any comparison between those and Raceland or are RL more for street use ?

Ok, I didn't get the joke. Not being a native english speaker helps me get to the ladies, but sometimes, it really doesn't help.

I'll stick with some KONIs then
