whats better.. less shock travel with high spring rate or more shock travel with lowe
more shock travel with ether higher or lower.
even with a high spring rate, have less shock travel is not so good for your shocks in the long run

What kind a setup are you running for suspension ?? i have d2 fully adjustable on the street iam running more shocks travel low spring rate iam happy with it !!
well basically i put stiffer springs in but now since there stiffer the car raised up higher so i had to lower it by the shock..
lots of shock travel, low spring rate.
of course i have quite the opposite and on the right road... the ride is so bad it's actually kind of fun. or at least funny. like rodeo. (unless you get a sudden car-coming-up-while-i'm-coming-down event- rough on the vertebrae and having the seat belt burn into my hip sucks)

question for all you suspension gurus
ok so my coilovers are as low as they can go and the spring is all the way down has no preload
my question is to raise it for more ahock travel would you raise it by the spring or by the shock
what would the difference be and what would give more shock travel
also another question.. im trying to adjust the ride height by the shock on the bottom with the spring all the way down.. i moved the shock down like an inch then i drop the spring back down and when i put the wheel back on its at the same ride height.. i dont understand this and now when i jack the back up that wheel is lower then the other side when raised in the air.. suspension is so confusing
