After lusting after '97-98 Integra Type R's for years I finally found one that suited what I wanted to do with it and pulled the trigger.

Picked this up 2 weeks ago from TN -- # 98-0940

This has had 4 other owners and I believe at least 3 of them are from here on Honda-tech so there should be a bit of history to it.

Basic car -- has had modifications done to it in the past but currently it is pretty stock with the exception of the Tein RA Coilovers

So what is the first thing to do ....well go over the entire car and prep it for the track. We did our normal maintenance stuff on it, put on new brakes, rebuilt the axles, new wheel bearing and mounted up some of our take-off Hoosiers and are headed to Sebring this weekend to run with PBOC

Plan for the car is to just enjoy it. Track it as much as possible, keep it simple and reliable.

I can't wait.

No immediate plans to door to door race this car -- we already have other cars for that

Just going to enjoy track days with this car for the time being.

What classes/ series do you run in w/ other cars. I work for a local ssca F production (national events only tho) driver/owner

 

we have a 1993 Integra that we run in ITA

and a 2004 Civic Si that runs in STU

we will actually have the EP3 out this weekend too doing a bit of testing.

To be absolutely correct, this is Trey's old caR. Much more historic value than many new members will realize. FD swap at NOPI, Expo 3/4, and many more cool stories.


Congrats on the pickup. I'm very glad to hear the car is in great hands now. I'm excited to see your plans for the car. An EP3 is my new daily out here. I may bug you on some pointers for setup options.
