02 Accord EX i4 auto to turbo H22A manual DD
I'm wanting to swap my 177k mile F23A4 that I have in my 2002 Accord EX sedan for an H22A, preferably OBD1 for the closed deck. When I do this I'd like to do a mild build on the motor, maybe pistons, rods and cams. I would also like to drop it with a turbo, T3/04 and swap the PoS automatic for a manual. In the end I'd like to pull maybe high 12s in this car and have it set up as a sleeper daily driver. I have never done anything this big, but I have a friend that has done a fair amount of swapping in civics.
The biggest problems I am foreseeing right now are mostly in the wiring. Going from OBD2b to OBD1 isn't looking like fun, and neither is the auto to manual swap.
Anyone out there done a build like this? Tips/recommendations?

if u switch to obd1 from obd2 i think u cant pass inspection..at least in nc. thats why i got a 94 accord wagon vs 96.
i could be wrong though

I'm aware that it won't be inspection ready, hopefully I don't ever have to live anywhere that requires it. Guess I'm just concerned that I may be biting off more than I can chew. Like I said I did a lot of googling and forum lurking and I'm hoping that this will be a good swap that can be reliable and fast while maintaining a stock look. Kind of hoping there was someone out there that had done something similar powertrain wise that could maybe offer a couple pointers of things that they didn't find before diving in.
