Default chasebays harness problem

well not to long ago i bought a civic ef hatch with a h22 swap in it had a chasebay harness in it ran for about 3 months like a champ. then one night out of the blue my cabin area gets filled with smoke and car shuts off. found the wire harness melted, so i send it in they told me it had several shorts. so i go ahead and purchase biggest mistake worst customer service ever and the harness in no way is worth the $850 i paid i had to extend several wires already just to make it fit..
Now to my problem: wired vehicle up with new harness came with 5 lose wires wired them in like they told me, now the car idles like **** and as soon as you put your foot on the gas pedal car wants to die. i replaces map, tps, and distributor with new ones and nothing.

help me please im stumped i dont know what to do, and really cant afford to be without a car much longer

Get a Rywire or Wireworx harness. I have never heard a good thing about Chasebays.

My chasebays harness is nice and fit perfectly. My big issue was wires not labeled, poor customer service and it took 4 months to get it.

I won't do business with them again. Rywire is the way to go if you have the $$$

You need to verify that the correct wire going to the sensors are going to the correct pin on the ECU. Best way is to bust out a multimeter and start checking for proper connections to and from the ECU.
