Default LsVtec Turbo - Suspension Re-Vamp

Alright so the next thing on my build list that I will be starting this weekend is pulling out the suspension & brakes & redoing everything.

Car: 93 Del Sol
Motor: LsVtec Turbo build in progress>shooting for 450-500whp on pump
Useage: Car will see drag time, perhaps some autocross down the road but mostly just a fun weekend warrior. It will not be a DD

Current Setup:
Koni Yellows
Ground Control Coils
Skunk2 Camber Kit
ASR rear subframe brace w/24mm sway
Skunk2 rear LCA's
Energy Suspension Kit>read notes below

Now the car is already being torn down for the motor swap, turbo build, engine bay repaint etc so I might as well redo the suspension while im at it. Currently the suspension is waaay too bouncy.

1) First off I will need to order some higher spring rates but am open to suggestions. I dont want a bouncy ride but my current spring rate is too soft for my liking, ill gather those spring rates later this evening. Suggestions?

2) Ball joints are completely torn and falling apart, these will be replaced with OEM joints unless there is a better alternative.

3) Every bushing I have seen so far on the front end is either torn or litterally falling apart, from the ball joints, to the tie rod ends etc. Which kit would be reccomended to replace these with? Energy Suspension Or ? I am open to suggestions

4) Camber Kit ball joints are also destroyed which is odd as these were only used for <1000 miles & both are torn/falling apart. These will be replaced with skunk2 pro series ball joint/plate unless there is a better alternative.

Now I will state this car had a energy suspension kit installed aprox 6 years ago however that was back when I did not have the time or tools to work on the car myself & the shop that did the install literally cut the bushing in half to slide them into place instead of pressing them in....sad but true. So these will all need to be replaced properly either way.

Ill add current spring rate specs & info later this evening but am just looking for brand suggestions or anything perhaps I am missing to inspect/replace while I am at it. The car is not slammed nor will it ever be completely slammed. There is plenty of room left on the coils to lower the car more however it is impractical for me to be any lower.

Pics & More info later on today.

Well eith suspention you have 2 delemas

1. Drag spring rates are HARD 14k+
2. You dont want to have a bouncy ride--drag spring rates will be bouncy on street as they have next to no give. So has to be one or other.

Now you can run 12k rear and 10k front but will still be harsh and still have rear weight transfer.

I am running pic apex coilovers, at 8k rear 10k front (road race setup) and they are still stiff as hell. Does not make car bouncy. But makes ride rough so it seems bouncy to passengers.

Ball joints -- oem according to imput i had on a ball joint hread other day-- prob use sk2 pros on uppers as u have camber kit

Front tie rod bushings-- again oem/ rebuilt

Bushings -- either oem or energy what ever works/ fits your budget.

Maybe look into hardrace or mugen for your bushings. Also include tires into your build if you haven't done so already

15" rim on Azenis at the moment, cant remember the tire specs off hand, will provide this later today. Once these tires are worn ill be switching to a better tire but they have served me well thus far. This will also depend on if the NSX brake upgrade will clear my 15" rota's. If not ill be moving to a 16" wheel w/new rubber all around
