Default Need help- MPFI swap throttle bogs and surges

Completed my mpfi swap two nights ago, it was running fine other than a minor vacuum leak that i bypassed for the moment till i get another hose. Now the idle is surging from 1500 rpm to 1000 rpm, the only code i had was air intaketemp sensor which i replaced, i reset the ecu and replaced the sensor, the code still persist and now my throttle bogs at low rpm and high rpm and slightly backfires. And is thowing code 10 which is crank angle sensor, i played with the timing by turnig the distributor, and found tdc matched it with the white mark on the crank pulley
What do i check for bogging throttle?
Should i advance or retard the timing? Slightly
Thanks for any good tech help

Your timing should not be at 0. You should be 16 +/- 2 degrees if I remember correctly

I set the tdc at the white mark which i believe is 0 degree there are three other marks on the crank pulley next to the main white mark, and for the distributor i turned until my motor was runnin smoother, it didnt surge as much when it was turned counter clockwise but didnt idle smooth, it surged more and idled smoother when I turned it clockwise

I would look at the wiring again and make sure its done right. How did you do the wiring? Crimp, twist tie, solder? The last owner who did the wiring on my civic before I bought it twist tied and electrical taped a lot of the wiring which went bad with vibrations and age.
