92 Civic CX - D15b8 to D15b7 swap has no power to anything
To whom it may concern:
I have a 92 honda civic CX hatchback. It came with the d15b8 engine. I blew the motor at 113,000. I did a swap to a d15b7. I hooked up all my wiring and connected all my things. I don't have any power to anything. No fuel pump kick in, no lights, no nothing. I have never done this before, this is my first swap...do I need to also change ECU? Again, no power anything...everything is connected...I am lost..someone help me!

The motors are too entirely different to expect the B8 ECU to run the B7 engine. Replace with the correct ECU for the engine. You want a P06 ECU.
Thanks to all who have replied/helped out!! Problem was corrected. When I hooked up a battery that was good...my started arched between the gromet and the block, causing me not to get power but just to the block. I have since put a new boot on, fixed the problem!
