Does anyone make a manifold suitable for the uk accord type r. There are very few available over here at a huge price compared to the us versions. I can import a manifold pay postage and import and still pay 2 -3rds of the uk price. Thing is a lot of the are for preludes or h2b, and I'm not sure they will fit mine, does any one have the dimensions for the common ones over here or can direct me to a company that can help. pardon the fact that i don't know alot about either chassis or engine, but an H22 should be an H22 no matter what car its in, so something for a Prelude H22 should fit into an Accord H22. i could be dead wrong, but thats my thought. if anything maybe it will be cut differently at the end to mate up to the exhaust, but that is nothing

 

I think its something to do with sump sizes, the accord has a deeper one. That's why i asked for dimensions, plus the engine in the UK accord type r sits at a slightly different angle or so im led to believe.

 

if you are well rounded with cutting and welding you should beable to modify one that has the appropriate head flange. the US didnt get the Accord R, so i'm not sure what would be the same, or what equivilency the US could offer

 

I'd like the measurements from the underside of the runners as it leaves the the head to the top of the return peice that goes under the sump, this is so I can see if it will fit and if not how much I need to cut and shut it? I'm not going to order one from the states if it's no where near am I, that's about as good as buying one for another brand of car
