Slight Clicking in R turns
so i just bought an 89 Civic LX, it has 164,800, & new tires, Outter/Inner tie rods, Upper ball joints, & axles. all parts are re manufactured.
car was in a front left impact with a parked car (low speeds) and was rear ended once.
The noise is very very quite, and i kinda feel it in the steering wheel. it almost feels like brakes. But the brakes do have new pads. Could it be steering rack bushings? or maybe wheel bearings, or bushings in the control arms???

Thanks, im pretty sure the wheel bearings where never changed, so that may be it. Although the axles have been replaced with re manufactured ones a few hundred miles ago so i hope its not them :/
Your wheel bearings will hum on sharp turns, not click. Sounds like your axle is popping, does it vibrate only under hard acceleration? It'll slowly get worse and worse until your axle snaps, if that's the culprit
Most likely the CV axle.
Take a good look at your engine and tranny mounts when you go to change out the axle.
Bad mounts (on stock ride height) cause most CV failures as the engine/tranny are held at angles that the CV isn't designed to work well in.

Definitely going to say that it's your CVs going out. This exact same thing happened when I got my Si last year, and after I got the axles replaced it was gone for good.
lets hope that doesnt happen.Im gonna get the axles checked out. and id like to change my motor moutns (prob never changed 164k on them) but i only saw 1 aftermarket option by hasport and they were ~$250. I wouldnt want ebay brands and if the problem lies in the OEM ones deff not them again.
I also just got Tein S-tech springs and im wondering will they help or hurt the problem, that is if it really is the axle thats making this sound.
